CELL DIFFERENTIATION AND PROLIFERATION T Cadherin Suppresses the Cell Proliferation of Mouse Melanoma B16F10 and Tumor Angiogenesis

چکیده
The influence of T cadherin on the pigmentation and proliferation of mouse melanoma B16F10 cells in vitro and on the growth and neovascularization of tumor cell masses formed by the B16F10 cells in a model of the chorioallantoic membrane of a chicken embryo is studied. It is found that the proliferative activity of the cells decreases in the cell culture of mouse melanoma upon the overexpression of T cadherin in comparison with the cells in the control. It is shown in experiments in vitro that the B16F10 cells with the overexpression of T cadherin are rarely settling are to the chorioallantoic membrane than the control cells. In addition, it is found that the con trol cells of mouse melanoma form tumors with area more 0.1 mm2 more often than the cells with the overexpres sion of T cadherin and the amount of the vessels growing to tumor cell masses formed by the cells with the overex pression of T cadherin is significantly lower than the same index for the cells in the control. Thus, the overexpres sion of T cadherin in the B16F10 cells suppresses the proliferation of these cells in vitro and the growth of the tumor masses formed by melanoma cells on the chorioallantoic membrane and their neovascularization in vivo.

Antrodia camphorata Grown on Germinated Brown Rice Suppresses Melanoma Cell Proliferation by Inducing Apoptosis and Cell Differentiation and Tumor Growth
Antrodia camphorata grown on germinated brown rice (CBR) was prepared to suppress melanoma development. CBR extracts were divided into hexane, EtOAc, BuOH, and water fractions. Among all the fractions, EtOAc fraction showed the best suppressive effect on B16F10 melanoma cell proliferation by CCK-8 assay. It also showed the increased cell death and the changed cellular morphology after CBR treat...

Background: ncRNAs have been identified as oncogenic drivers and tumor suppressors in any type of cancer. Although many classes of ncRNAs have been reported, most studies have been performed on microRNAs (miRNAs). miRNAs can regulate several target genes and affect important processes such as homeostasis, angiogenesis, cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Located in the p75NTR ge...
متن کاملEffects of BIO on proliferation and chondrogenic differentiation of mouse marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells
In vitro expansion of mesenchymal stem cell (MSCs) into large number is necessary for their application in cell-based treatment of articular cartilage defects. On the other hand, some studies have indicated that BIO (6-Bromoindirubin-3-Oxime) possesses mitogenic effects on cell culture. The objective of the present study was to examine the effect of BIO on in vitro expansion and chondrogenic di...
متن کاملThe effect of BMP4 on mouse embryonic stem cell proliferation and differentiation into primordial germ cells
Background and Aim: Artificial gamete production from stem cells is a novel strategy for treatment of infertility. Among various stem cell sources, embryonic stem cells (ESC) can be considered as an appropriate source for in vitro formation of germ cells. In this study we evaluated the effect of BMP4 on proliferation and differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells into primordial germ cells (...
متن کاملRhodostomin, a snake venom disintegrin, inhibits angiogenesis elicited by basic fibroblast growth factor and suppresses tumor growth by a selective alpha(v)beta(3) blockade of endothelial cells.
Angiogenesis consists of the proliferation, migration, and differentiation of endothelial cells, although angiogenic factor and integrin-extracellular matrix interaction modulate this process. We report here that a snake venom-derived disintegrin, rhodostomin, inhibited distinct steps in angiogenesis elicited by basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), and also suppressed in vivo murine melanoma ...
